KBW has partnered with a growing company on a search for an Assistant Controller will be a hands-on manager and assist in upgrading policies and procedures to poise the company for additional growth.
The Assistant Controller will report to the CFO and be responsible for the following:
Ownership of the month end close and general ledgerFinancial reporting and analysisAssist with process improvement and implementation of policies and proceduresTechnical Accounting MattersProject accounting including BOM and WIPAnalysis of balance sheet accountsOversee, develop, and mentor accounting staffSupport the external audit The ideal candidate will have the following
Experience:
BS degree required5
years of related experienceCPA a plus but not requiredExcellent communication skillsStrong Microsoft Excel Compensation:
