In-Home Developmental Specialist

We are a small non-profit organization that works in the homes and community with people who have varying disabilitiesWe take impossible and turn it to possibleWe do everything from teaching individuals how to get a job, and taking individuals out on adventures, to providing much needed respite care and mentorshipOur individuals are between the ages of 3 years old-65 years old.
Our ideal candidate:
A passionate, motivated, self- initiating team members to help us with our mission of providing quality services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Although you will receive a combination of zoom and in person training once hired, only candidates with prior experience should applyWe also require a car and license (we do take individuals out in the community in personal cars, employees receive mileage reimbursement), clean driving record, and ability to pass a CORI checkWe offer ongoing professional development for our employees.
Pay is based on education and experienceCandidates with bachelors and masters degrees encouraged to applyAs a new company we will have many opportunities to progress within the company for upcoming years if that is something the candidate desiresAlso ability to provide supervision hours to RBTS or internships.
We are looking for someone to work a 5 hour shift once a week with an individual in Littleton (day time hours)! Many other days and times availableResponsibilities include:
Skill building of ADL's and IADL'sIn home direct care for an individual with intellectual disabilities.
Community based skill building.
Providing respite care to the guardians of the individual.
Maintain a professional relationship with the family and maintain positive rapport with the individual.
