The AV Systems Engineer is a member of the Hardware R&D team focused on design & support activities related to surgical integration products. The incumbent will contribute to designs, specifications, sub-system component evaluations, & documentation of the surgical integration system. Job Duties: As a Sr. AV Systems Engineer working on the Image Stream Medical R&D team, you will be empowered and inspired to do your best work. You will contribute to our mission by helping design world class surgical integration systems, selecting and qualifying system components, and creating design documentation.  In this role you will generate drawings for audio, video, control, and communications, and author design specifications.  Working with a Principle AV Systems Engineer you will help coordinate the requirements, integration, and installation of systems with the Operations team.  You will also support field and service issues as needed.In a typical day, you will: Undertake audio & video sub-system component evaluations, initial qualification and development of specifications. Generate functional and connection-level drawings for audio, video, control, and communications systems. Create Engineering Design Packages (to include audio, video, control, and power distribution diagrams). Generate and submit Bills of Materials (BOM) and monitor the ordering of A/V equipment and materials for prototype activities. Work with the Principle AV Systems Engineer, coordinate the requirements, integration, and installation of A/V control systems with the Operations team. Write AV and/or system design specifications. Support the on-site installation efforts of the Operations team. Ensure full compliance with company and customer's safety programs. Complete training programs from manufacturers, industry associations, and company as required. Work with Test Engineering to resolve issues during verification testing activities. Support service & field related issues as they arise. Keep up to date with advances in AV technologies and how they affect the business environment. Maintain solid technical understanding of the software and hardware in the Image Stream products within scope of the position. Help lead problem solving and development tasks with other team members. Perform all other duties as required or assigned by management.   Job Requirements: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering or Audio Engineering. Minimum of 5 years applied Audio/Video (AV systems integration) experience in design (3 yrs) and installation (1 yrs). Design experience in complex AV systems.  Experience using CAD and documentation tools. Expertise using AutoCAD is required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Competency with other software design tools, e.g. Visio and MS Office products. CTS-D certification is a plus.  Strong knowledge of Professional AV equipment such as Extron.  Strong understanding of analog and digital audio and video standards.  Strong understanding of audio principles.  Strong understanding of AV and architectural drawings.  Limited travel may be required. Understanding of FDA 21 CFR 820.30 (design controls).  Understanding of IEC 60601-1, IEC 60950-1, NFPA 70. 4127BR

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
