Physics Specialist / Product Manager

Contribute to the growth of Mevion Medical Systems by working with our internal physics and engineering groups and the medical physicists and dosimetrists at our customer sites in commissioning of our system as well as supporting their treatment planning and clinical operations. This is a position that enables product training while supporting installation and will grow into a product manager position. Job Duties Support physics commissioning at headquarters and installation sites Support current and prospective customers with the development of treatment plans Work on new product requirements and design with engineering development teams Convey clinical feedback to inform product design Prepare validation test plans and instructions Educate and assist customer in physics tasks such as data collection, beam modeling, process QA, and dosimetry Remain current in radiation and proton therapy physics and clinical practices Work with sales/marketing, application specialists, engineering, and clinical partners to define product release requirements and priorities Become a product expert supporting development, release, and customer use of the product Provide product and technical support including product training, creating competitive sales arguments and supporting trade shows Provide market analysis and competitive awareness Education and Experience Masters or PhD in Physics, Medical Physics or related field At least 5 years experience in a radiotherapy industry Experience in proton or Linac QA, performing physics measurements, proton experience is a plus Familiarity with commercial treatment planning systems (TPS) and beam modeling process, RayStation experience is a plus Skilled in performing data and numerical analysis, multi tasking and independent problem solving Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Proven leadership skills Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English. Mandarin language fluency is a plus Previous product management and/or sales and marketing experience in the medical field is a plus Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as position requires 20-30% travel

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
