Principal Electrical Test Engineer

In this hands-on role you will be responsible for providing team leadership, direction, oversight and guidance of electrical test engineers.  As a Principal Engineer you will provide functional guidance and leadership for Systems and Solutions Testing, incorporating all aspects of the required test deliverables (HW, SW, FW and other systems).  You will exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies, selecting methods and techniques for verifying mechanical, electrical, software and firmware and validating subsystems and solutions with manual and automated test processes.  To succeed in this role, you must be familiar with good practices for testing and analyzing systems and electrical power solutions.   A Day in the Life   You will guide successful completion of projects through collaboration with program managers, team leads and individual contributors You will provide direction regarding the development of solutions to complex technical problems and provide guidance in executing practical cost-effective solutions You will participate in the evaluation and assessment of test technologies external to Navigation as deemed relevant to business strategy You will provide detailed design analysis of all electrical designs from a design, reliability and robustness perspective, understanding derating, thermal performance and reliability impacts You will interface with EE, ME, Quality, Sales, and Operations managers on design, development, production, supplier, internal audit and other issues You will create Reliability block diagram, DFMEA and FTA of a system, power and motion designs You will work closely with program management and other stakeholders as necessary to resolve potential issues during new product launches and interface with partners external to Navigation, external divisions and vendors of Medtronic to collaborate on new ventures and business opportunities You will seek to understand and integrate external customer opinion regarding test methodologies, identifying test methods that stimulate a solution as a customer defines Must Have: Minimum Requirements   You will have a Bachelors' degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field  and 7+ years experience or an advanced degree and 5+ years experience in medical or regulated industry in a test engineering capacity.   Nice to Have   Significant experience in Verification and Validation of complex software and hardware systems Solution/outcome oriented Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact at all levels of the organization 18000N23

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
